I come here often for the southern fried white fish or the catfish . The prices are reasonable, it is always fried fresh, and the pieces are large!
Service was Extremely Good. I would never expect such friendliness from a fast food joint. They asked about everything. First class. As I sat in the drive-through waiting for the food, I noticed how clean and organized the backend of the counter is , you never see that. Polite, friendly as I said first class extremely good give those boys a raise.
Food was great. I had platter with fish, shrimp, crab cakes, hush puppies, cole slaw & baked potato. It was only 11 and I was completely satisfied with the food. Customer service was presented with a friendly smile and checked with us frequently about our experience at Captain D's.
This time we bought 2pc tender fish. Just fish no meal or anything. The girl said wait as we just dipped the fish into fryer. I tell you guys...this wait was best wait ever. The warm and fresh fish fry was the best.
Its been years since I've had Captain D's and now I remember why I used to love eating it so much back then. The worker in the drive-thru was very professional. The hushpuppies. . Goodness!!!! They're so delicious especially when you dip them in tartar sauce. I ordered that spicy fish and it was pretty good. I wish y'all would make that a permanent item on the menu. And one of the best parts about the fish is. . Its not too salty. I was able to enjoy other flavors of the fish other than just salt. Delicious, and great service!!
Normally I post beautiful food photos along with a review of my opinion on the experience received. Well let me start by saying that everything my wife and I ordered this evening (Jan,30,2020) was nothing less than amazing but that isn't the reason for my review. I have reviewed many restaurants both large and small, from dive joints to high price fine dinning. The service that I witnessed tonight from Ash,Mercedes,Terrance and Doug was nothing short of Stellar! A true example of what it means to go above and beyond. Not only was the whole crew friendly and doing a great job at getting their orders out hot and quickly but i witnessed them going out of their way to help with a group of customers with special needs. Sometimes it's the small things that make the biggest difference in people's lifes and this Crew not only deserves an immediate raise in pay but hopefully the company can allow these folks to train others on what it means to provide Top notch customer service. I went through the drive-thru and my food was dropped fresh! I had a 20 min drive ahead of me, socked my food in my cooler bag and it was still hot when I got home and fresh tasting. The gentleman at the window was courteous as well.
This was my first time at Captain D's. The fried white fish was deliciously crispy and crunchy.
